Trip Date: December 12, 2020
Went out for a morning drive on a winter Sunday morning and ended up near the May Valley Trailhead at Squak Mountain State Park. I had not been to this State Park before, so Emma and I decided to stop in and go for a quick hike, down at the base of the Mountain.
We ended up on the Pretzel Tree loop trail, which was a perfect for a slow hike along a new trail, on this unplanned morning expedition See the GPS track on the right. The loop trail is short; we walked it twice.
This morning ended up being a great morning to get some photographs of sunrays shining through the moss covered trees. Take a look at some of the photos below.
