Trip Date: May 26th, 2023
It is opening day at Chinook Pass 2023, and Danny, Emma and I were excited to get out into the mountains and see the forest. The highway has been closed for winter since last year and the crews have been busy for the last few weeks clearing off the roadway. There was still plenty of snow at the top of the pass, but it was easy driving in the Camry, heading over the pass and traveling just a bit into the Wenatchee National Forest. Summer time is almost here in the PNW!
