Trip Date: December 5, 2020
Took a quick drive down to the Puget sound, on the shoreline west of Tacoma, Washington. Emma and I stopped in at the Chambers Bay Regional Park to explore the area for the first time. What a neat park! This place consists of a huge wide open set of fields, starting high up on the hill side and extending down 100s of feet all the way to the level of the Puget Sound. Also located within the 930-acre regional park, is the Chambers Bay public golf course, an absolutely stunning 250-acre golf course located in the middle of the park. There is a hiking trail along the shoreline that goes right through the golf course, providing expansive views of the sound and nearby Fox and McNeil islands. Lookout for golf balls while hiking on this trail!
The lighting conditions were great this morning to capture some awesome photographs of the park, the golf course and the Puget Sound scenery.
