Trip Date: July 3rd, 2021
Went for a visit out to this small King County park close to home to walk the dog and explore a new place. I had driven by this park many times on drives down the Green Valley road but had never stopped in.
There is a small parking lot with portable toilet and a short trail leading down to the banks of the Green River. The trail is wide and in good condition with a gravel surface at the start, and then turns to dirt as you get closer to the river floodplain. The fork of the trail I went down crossed over a small creek and then ended at the river, where a few fisherman were trying their luck.
