Titlow park is a small 75 acre park located just to the south of the Tacoma Narrows bridge, right on the Puget Sound. The park features large grassy fields, picnic shelters and a generous playground areas for kids. The Titlow lodge, a historic feature of the park originally constructed in 1911, is available for rent for events such as weddings and parties.
A sweeping beach at the park provides access down to the waters of the sound on the west side of the railroad tracks; be cautious when crossing the tracks at the road crossing located at the south end of the park. A 1.5 mile loop trail covers the north part of the park and provides for a nice stroll through the forested hillside while overlooking the the Puget below and beach below. The trail crosses over the railroad tracks at the north end over a wide pedestrian bridge, making for easy access. The views at the north end of the park provide an excellent vantage point of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, making for a great photo opportunity.
