Trip Date: May 23rd, 2021
The Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River is a popular recreational river valley, easily accessible off of the I-90 corridor, just east of North Bend, WA. Despite the crowds that accompany a clear sky spring Saturday afternoon, I was still able to find some viewpoints to grab some photographs of the river valley and surrounding mountain peaks.
The day use area adjacent to Stegosaurus Butte, just before the splits off from the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River was a great place to stop and walk around with the Dog. A set of well maintained gravel trails made for easy access to a number of picnic tables where you could setup and prepare a bite to eat. A nature loop trail included convenient access to the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River shoreline.
