{"id":840,"date":"2021-03-20T12:08:36","date_gmt":"2021-03-20T19:08:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gravelbound.com\/?p=840"},"modified":"2021-03-20T17:45:16","modified_gmt":"2021-03-21T00:45:16","slug":"mud-mountain-dam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gravelbound.com\/?p=840","title":{"rendered":"Mud Mountain Dam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Trip Date:<\/strong> March 12, 2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<p>Went for a short walk around the park at the Mud Mountain Dam Park maintained by the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nws.usace.army.mil\/Missions\/Civil-Works\/Locks-and-Dams\/Mud-Mountain-Dam\/Recreation\/\" target=\"_blank\">Army Corps of Engineers<\/a>. The park is located southeast of Enumclaw, WA, above the Mud Mountain Dam located on Mud Mountain Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I visited both the upper and lower observation platforms where there are some some EXCELLENT views of the Mud Mountain Dam and the White River below.  The lower observation platform is access via a moderately steep but short trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See more from this trip in the video below.
